He is an experienced manager, negotiator, and natural leader who works towards solutions based on consensus and compromise.
Gerry believes in less government, operational transparency and practical decision-making founded on professionalism, integrity and mutual respect.

He is a graduate of Mount Forest District High School and holds a BaSc (Bachelor of Applied Science) degree in civil engineering from the University of Waterloo. In 2014, when Gerry retired, he and his wife Kathi moved to the family farm in Snow Road. (ie the Lett Farm - formerly known as the Millar farm). This was an easy decision. In addition, Gerry was tasked with developing and delivering numerous projects, ranging in size from the very small to multi-year, province wide programs with budgets upwards of $100,000,000.
Gerry is a recipient of the Province of Ontario’s prestigious Amethyst Award for his work in benchmarking - the process of measuring performance of an organization’s products, services or processes against those of another organization considered to be the best in the industry.
